Father Pio (Padre Pio) – religious Capuchin following in the way of St. Francis of Assisi – St. Pio of Pietrelcina was a humble man who loved the Eucharist, the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mama Mary. His life was filled with miracles as recorded in the Life of Padre Pio. He was blessed with the gift of discernment and became know for using this gift in the confessional.

St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina is the patron saint of civil defense volunteers, adolescents, and stress-relief.
